Yaseen Hussein
Why 200km?
Yaseen was already pushing the distance before the London to Birmingham run. He completed the London Marathon, then ran Southampton a week later on 3 May 2026 while dealing with a knee injury.
After that he went much further. The next challenge was 200 kilometres from London to Birmingham. Milton Keynes became one of the key stops, with runners and supporters meeting him on the road.
The run was there to raise money and keep Sudan in view. People could follow the route, share it, donate and show up. That mattered more than making the challenge look polished.
Yaseen put it simply: “pain is temporary, but purpose lasts forever.” The documentary keeps the rough parts in. The road, the tiredness, the stops and the people around him are the story.
